Fishing
Perhaps more than anything else,
Costa Rica is known for its superb fishing. International Game
Fishing Association (IGFA) records have been broken here repeatedly
and the waters of Drake Bay and the Pacific beyond are especially
rich sport fishing areas. Sailfish, marlin, yellowfin tuna,
roosterfish, and mackerel, among others, are plentiful and make for
a good fight and excellent footage if you bring a camera.
Our 21-foot Open Fisherman, powered by a 65 horsepower outboard
motor, is perfect for a full day of inshore casting (and catching!).
For offshore sport, we provide a 26-foot Garrett with tuna tower,
full outriggers and expert crew. Your captain is North American with
20 years experience in these waters. Gear and tackle are included on
both crafts, as well as a cooler full of soft drinks. Welcome
aboard. |
